About Piet Reijm

Piet Reijm was born on 22nd of December 1958 in The Netherlands.

After finishing his technical and commercial education in 1976 he starts work at the German diesel and gas engine manufacturer MWM in The Netherlands. The first ten years as Diesel Engine Technician all over the world (maintenance, repair, trouble shooting and commissioning). After that seven years Project Management which means engineering and building CHP projects based on MWM gas engines. The last two years Piet was in Sales selling gas engine fired CHP plants in The Netherlands.

Time to move to the subsidiary of the Austrian gas engine manufacturer Jenbacher in The Netherlands starting as Sales Manager for The Netherlands and Belgium. Five years later Piet got the role as Sales Director responsible for the sales in The Netherlands and Belgium and sales of all greenhouse applications worldwide. The last six years of the fifteen year period at Jenbacher Piet has the role of General Manager. Under Piet his responsibility the Dutch subsidiary was by far the most successful representative of Jenbacher gas engines worldwide.

Time to start a company himself “Reijm Consultancy B.V.” in 2012 and “Reijm Engines B.V.” in 2020. Reijm Consultancy B.V. started in 2014 with dealing in used gas and diesel engines. The business is successful and needed a better fitting name so “Reijm Engines B.V.” is founded in 2020.
